Explore Vancouver: Granville Island
Granville Island is easily one of my favourite places in my city. It's rich with unique shops, vibrant colours, and curious people like myself. A few weekends ago, I decided to take my brother alongside me, as we explored this treasure of a place in just a few hours.
Some of my favourite memories from childhood reside at Kids Market. When my sisters and I were younger, my dad would take us to the cute little colourful building where we'd spend time playing games in the arcade and looking through the toy stores.
Granville Island is a place you can go back to multiple times, because you simply cannot take in every little shop you see there. This is where you can find cool knick-knacks and local products!
I didn't take any photos of inside the public market, but I've been eyeing that Smarties cupcake for years and finally bought it for Justin. After, we shared Banana Chocolate ice cream from Rogers' Chocolates.
To sum up our adventure: "FACE TO DESCRIBE YOUR DAY... 1, 2, 3, GO!"
Thanks for tuning in! More adventures to come in the near future, so sign up to subscribe for e-mail updates!
(hopefully, in the future, they'll be more detailed, but for now, I'm just gonna let these photos speak for themselves -- to see more photos, you can check out my Flickr)
